I have an extra room I need to turn into a guest room. The walls are yellow, and the trim/closet doors are white. I have a nice blue/yellow bedspread that matches the wall, but I need add bedroom furniture (headboard, nightstand etc.). What color Furniture should I use? (Wood – light, white or black OR maybe metal?)

I’d go with white, for either metal or wood. It will look nice and clean along with the white trim. If you choose to do a natural wood, I’d keep it light.

Remember, even though white will show dirt, dark colors show the DUST!

I’ve been searching and wondering, what type of Careers in the medical field besides phlebotomy can you go to school for to work specifically with the blood, such as evaluation, identifying, specific diseases which involve the blod, etc etc??

I live in arizona and to become a phlebotomist (minus the prerequisites) the actual course is only 9 months. I would like to work in this field but would not like to spend more then 2-3 years in college to advance into this type of medical field. Any information is helpful!!!

A 4-year program to a job working with blood and body fluids to diagnose diseases etc. would be a medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
There is also a 2-year program that is somewhat similar to this but with less responsibilities and less pay, which would be clinical laboratory technician I believe.
The general category of what you are interested is clinical laboratory Science, and you will find the kind of program that you are looking for at an allied health school. I think what it’s called is Clinical Laboratory Technician. I’ve seen it abbreviated CLT/MT also.
http://www.allalliedHealthschools.com has a search feature to look for schools that offer the program that you want. Also you can try google, they could be missing some.

What are each generations obligations to those before and those after them? Do the old consume too much health care? What is too much? How should health care resources be distributed across the population? Should health care be explicitly rationed on the basis of age?

Interesting question. How many young people, say 30 and younger have paid into a health insurance plan since they were first employed? How many of these have had extreme health issues that otherwise would have wiped them out? Truth is, and the insurance companies know, is that the youth have *always* subsidized the elderly because statistically, one is more likely to need to *use* health insurance when one is older, than when one is younger. So, younger folks premiums go to the cost and care of those who are older. In a way, not unlike a Ponzi scheme.

Is this bad? In strict terms of the youth subsidizing their older compatriots, no. But when it gets dicey is that the youth get old eventually, and when they get their insurance revolked because of a pre-existing condition, or, they have become too expensive to cover and subsequently get cancelled by their health insurance company, that’s when it becomes criminal.

So, short answer, no. There should be a Public Option that ensures the Health care of everyone.

for someone who isn’t trying to overdo it on the Dieting but would like to start eating healthier and feel better. There is the obvious things to cut out of your diet, but as for other things, what have you found that staying away from really seems to help?

Try eating more fruits and veggies in place of other fatty meals, like junk food, cookies, or high calorie meals. Like most people (I’m guilty sometimes!), you’ve probably brainwashed yourself into thinking that fast food tastes better than healthy food, but that’s not entirely true! Try eating more grapes, clemintines, apples chunks in vanilla yogurt (good for sweet cravings!), blueberries, hummus (it sounds gross but it’s really not, especially with Wheat Thins or Food Should Taste Good brand whole grain chips! I personally like garden vegetable or tomato flavored), granola, low-fat yogurt, low-fat string cheese, LITE whole wheat bread, 100 – calorie popcorn / kettle corn bags, steamed broccoli with a buttery garlic sauce etc. I also snack on South Beach Diet oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, they’re good AND pretty healthy! And eat SLOWLY. Take one bite at a time, chew completely, then take another bite. If you eat slower, you’ll become fuller quicker, and you won’t overeat.

Incorporate more exercise into your daily life. Take the dog for a 20 minute walk, do jumping jacks while watching TV, do laps around the block, or the house for that matter. Don’t let yourself sit down for too long. If you can, get a gym membership. I use an elliptical for 30 minutes 5-6 times a week and it works great for me.

And don’t eat out of boredom! It’s a nasty habit to break, TRUST ME. Whenever you feel like eating, watch a movie with no commercial breaks so you don’t have time to get up, call a friend, read a book or magazine, or get out of the house, away from the food.

And don’t "DIET". Because the moment you go off your "diet", you’ll regain the all the weight you lost quickly, believe me. Instead, make "Healthy living choices."

I recently lost weight, about 20 lbs, and what really helped for me was planning my meals. I planned when and what I was going to eat, and made sure the calorie count was 1400. It may be different depending on your needs, but never go under 1200! Whatever you do, don’t let yourself stray from your plan. Write it all down or type it out and leave it up on your computer so you don’t forget, that’s what I do.

You’ll never get to your "ideal" body by eating crap food and sitting around, no matter how much you want it to happen. It takes dedication to get the body you want! Make it like a game. How much weight can I lose? Prove it to yourself you DO have the willpower to get what you want. Hang pictures of the body type you want on the fridge and cupboard to stop yourself from mindless snacking or overeating.

But allow yourself a cheat day every now and then. Life is too short! If you restrict your body of all the "good foods", you will one day EXPLODE and eat everything in sight. Trust me!

One more thing: Once you do become thinner, DON’T think you can eat whatever you want now! You’ll regain all the weight back, which is absolutely mortifying, especially after all the hard work to lose it.

Good luck! Hope that helps (:

OH, and sitting up straight burns more calories than slouching. Try it!

Hey I want to dive into the Internet Marketing field. I know about blogs and what they are? But i dont know how to write good ones to get recognized. I mean what should i start blogging about? I mean should i stick to a particular area of interest or diversify myself. And also i need some few other tips about increasing my web presence. I know you people will be answering me for the the same reason. Please guide me to some valuable resource

1. Have a website, either a free blog or your own domain
2. Post at least twice a week in your blog targeted towards one Business, whatever it may be. This allows your "website" to be updated regularly which is beneficial in Search Engine Optimization.
3. Most newbies tend to eagerly create a new blog and stop it after 2 months due to lack of sales. The key is consistency and laser targeted goal. Example: Promote only one affiliate product and post anything and everything around the same topic.
4. Simple ways to increase web presence would be to leave comments on other related blogs, having a social network in Facebook or post videos in YouTube which show your website address.

I have 3 cats and the youngest always comes running from wherever he is at in the house when he hears me turn on the fan and jumps right in the bed with me. It’s sooo cute. The others will eventually come and run across my head while I’m sleeping or wake me up in the morning, but my youngest definitely has them beat in this category with his antics.
What cute or annoying things do your Pets do when you are in the bed?

My 2 cats each sleep on either side of me in bed. The dogs would like to also but the cats won’t let them.

My cat George is very dysfunctional since he was taken from his mom at 4 weeks. (He’s now 7 years old). He kneads bread on me and puts his head on my shoulder and in the morning, gently taps my face until I wake up to give him his breakfast. He’s better than any alarm clock I’ve had. Trouble is, he wants his breakfast at 5AM!!

Modern Office Furniture; When the Modern Office replaced the “old office” the old office furniture went with it. Modern office furniture reflects the needs of young, dynamic, and creative businesses. Today businesses, trying to distinguish themselves from others, often use their office environment, workspaces and communication systems as key tools in distinguishing themselves from their competitors.

Modern office furniture products need to be flexible, ergonomic, elegant, and most importantly, comfortable and functional. To maximize performance and productivity, today’s manufacturers are incessantly designing new modern office furniture pieces that can keep up with our rapidly changing world. MAiSPACE is leading the field with its unique designs and, as might be expected, is the fastest growing office furniture company. MAiSPACE provides a variety of modern office furniture systems that are sleek, elegant, exceptionally affordable, and immensely versatile. Innovative, functional, and individually-centric MAiSPACE modern office furniture products provide all of the features and benefits of expensive alternatives, proving that style, elegance, and function can come at an affordable price.

The modern office is warm, friendly, comfortable, and functional and it’s eco-friendly. Our wood Furniture products come from sustainable forests. Another advantage of wood furniture is its natural aroma; definitely the air that you breathe is much Healthier and it’s natural in an environment of natural wood versus other non-natural materials. A study recently revealed that some of the components used in office furnishing systems were sources of toxic compounds.

MAiSPACE also offers safe and recycled materials. Our modern office furniture products are fiberglass free. Unlike many office systems, which are filled with fiberglass that doesn’t break down in landfills, we use post-consumer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) from ground up soda bottles. We hope other manufacturers will share our concerns and follow our lead. Due to the large number of plastic containers being discarded, much of this material goes unused. We are very happy to find a use for it that makes sense from every perspective.

Modern office is designed with simplicity and functionality in mind. Ergonomic chairs, fixed, foldable, and transitional conference tables. Based on this philosophy, MAiSPACE takes innovation and interior office design to the next level. MAiSPACE redefines the rules about what the office should and could look like. MAiSPACE introduces a new lines of modern office furniture that suits the needs of the creative minds of today’s thriving businesses. MAiSPACE designs office systems and furniture that help workers to work more effectively and productively.

In today’s corporate world, space is always a central issue. As such, today’s interior design is all about space planning and utilization, and efficiency. What we need is more breathing room in today’s modern offices. The office space cannot be too confining. The modern office workstation can be easily taken apart and then re-assembled to meet your ever changing workspace needs. We offer modern office furniture that allows you to maximize comfort in a minimal work space.

At MAiSPACE, we also help you reconfigure an office floor plan in hours without disrupting the entire local area network. Reconfigurable, ready-to-assemble frames equipped with self aligning connectors simplify moving elements into and throughout the building reducing installation costs.

Modern office furniture is about using the latest technology to your advantage. We are here to bring order out of chaos, because we know in today’s corporate world it’s all efficiency, productivity … but also the look and feel of the workplace. MAiSPACE and Morspace, our two signature product lines, are based on the size, reach, movements of the users. User-friendly components, such as cascade edge worksurfaces and adjustable height, sit/stand keyboard platforms for computer intensive environments provide plenty of usable and breathable space and help manage information. We also take pride in cable management. Frames provide unobstructed cable pathways top to bottom. Cable runs are laid in behind lift-off panel segments, not bundled and fished through structural elements. Off-modular design allows flexibility in workspace size, configuration and in locating bins, shelves, and divider panels.

At MAiSPACE, we are changing the way people think of office and office furniture. Modern office furniture speaks volumes about your Business … functionality, productivity, your attitudes and image. We also know that the way your office is structured and organized can communicate the message beyond the company … at MAiSPACE, we understand this and are here to help you meet all of the requirements and objectives of your modern office.

Baby food…with allergy concerns and wanting to save a bit of money there is no easier way to put your mind at easy than making homemade baby food.

It is so very important to your baby’s growth that he be fed the most nutritious food available. Don’t forget, over the next few years your baby is growing at a very rapid rate. Babies develop in the first 3 years both physically and intellectually and we want to help maximize that development in any way we can.

Processed baby food have added sugars, starches and water. Using this ingredients is in no way bad or harmful to baby but they dilute the vitamins and nutrients in the food. Baby food is then cooked at a very high temperature so that they can be stored in jars at room temperature. The Cooking process kills bacteria so that storing the jars is not an issue. The problem with this is that vitamins and nutrients are killed in the process
