What are great careers that have to do with dealing with newborn babies?

I am in High School and I need to start thinking about Careers. I want to go to college and I LOVE babies. I was thinking maybe a neonatologist or a neonatal nurse. I would really like to be one of the nurses that takes care of the newborn babies in the maternity ward. Like the ones that change them and take care of the Healthy ones. I would like to be looking after healthy babies, because seeing a baby die or be very sick would just break my heart, but I think it would be worth it in the long run to get to be with babies. Any other job suggestions? Please help, I am very serious about a career in infant care.

a labor and delivery nurse can be a fun job, but just remeber that even in healthy pregnancies, something can go wrong. Be prepared to deal with stillbirths and babies that only live a few hours, as well as maternal deaths. You will also be dealing with mothers who have had inadequate prenatal care, drug babies, and very young mothers. If you have the stamina to do the job then more power to you!!

What types of careers are there that involve working with animals?

I’m interested in working with animals.

So, what Careers are there that involve them?

I’m ecspecially interested in helping animals.

I’m not terribly good at mathematics, so preferably something that doesnt require massive skills with numbers.

It doesnt even have to be a job that has direct contact with the animal.

If you’ve had any experience in a career that involved working with them, how did you like it?

Alrighties, thanks!

What service-oriented careers are available to Physics majors?

I am pursuing a physics major with a human rights minor in a university.
I was wondering what kind of service-related Careers are available? I know service career
is very broad, but I was wondering what kind of opportunities are available since Physics is
probably a unusual degree for this kind of work.

But I love physics and I don’t want to give up majoring in it also.

Thanks!

A service-oriented career for a student who studied physics and human rights often involves learning to say, "do you want fries with that?"

What are some careers in the stock market?

I’ve always been fascinated with the stock market. I follow it daily and have accounts to trade with. One is a fully managed account and the other I make the trades. I think something in the stock market might be the career for me. I’m 25 and have a degree in Healthcare Business. The only thing I question my ability at is making phone sales. What are some Careers in the stock market?

stock broker….

What companies and careers involve a lot of fundraising?

We do a little fundraising where I work, and I’ve proven to really excel at it. I enjoy bringing in money for a good cause, and meeting new people along the way. I’m thinking about making this a larger part of my career choice. I’m wanting to know if there are certain Careers that focus on this, as well as any training programs. Thanks!

I got a GREAT answer for you and one you probably would never think of, you will get the job right away and have fun.
I would be a canvasser for a Home improvement company. You go with a group and meet people and set appointments for sales representatives. Just look up a window siding company and ask if they use canvassers. If they do, you got the job. Pays pretty good too. Most make twice minimum wage. They will train you and you can shadow another canvasser while you are learning.
Go get them,
Hope this helps,
Helper

What are some careers that relate to politics?

I am looking for some possible ideas for a career, and am interested in politics, and the current events occuring in world news.
I enjoy these things, but I have no idea about the type of Careers that I could try and get into (with or without university) that relate to these interests.

you could do journalism, be a council member for the city, you could be a political analyst, you can be an aide to a local politician, a secretary, or be an actual lying money grubbing politician

What are good careers for people with journalism degrees?

I’m a college student who is majoring in journalism. My ultimate goal was to be a Sports journalist, but now i’m not so sure. I love to write and would love to have a career writing and doing research, however what Careers suit my passion?

You could apply for law school. There’d be plenty of research and writing in that career.

What are some careers dealing with children if you graduated with a psychology degree?

I am graduating with a psychology degree in May and I am having a career crisis. I would like to work with children but a child psychologist seems kind of depressing. I was wondering if anyone knew of great Careers that deal with children. I am willing to go back to school because I would like to further my Education. Any advice?

i don’t really know of anything besides child psychologist
although idk it may be less depressing to work at a school and do that
my school has a psychiatrist
seems like you’d run in to less depressing cases at private schools and stuff

help me?

What are good careers with a bachelors in business finance degree?

I’m currently going for my associates degree in business management with an emphasis in administration, however I feel that this degree choice is limiting. I graduate in September and I’m thinking about continuing on to get a bachelors degree in business Finance. I’m 21 and I don’t know EXACTLY what I want to do but I feel I would enjoy a career in finance (not accounting exactly), what kind of Careers would be an option for me with a bachelors degree in Business finance?

You have lot of options other then accounting to choose as a career with a bachelors in business finance. You can become a Financial consultant, adviser, planner, a stock analyst… the options are numerous i would suggest you to evaluate your strengths and then choose the career which you think would best suit you.
