Hi, I am currently computer Science major in college. I am looking for a job that does not require a computer science degree but in the field of IT. I would like to gain experience before I graduate. I’ve been looking for a job in IT field but most of the jobs requires computer science or Information technology degree. What would be good job for me? What certificate might be easy to get to get these jobs?

Why don’t you do a summer internship (or even take a semester off for an internship)? I’m currently employing an intern who has about a year and a half of comp sci. He worked last semester and is working this summer. He’ll go back to school in the Fall with a lot of experience that will help him get through his classes a lot easier.

Success in Internet Marketing can be extremely hard to come into, but there is an easy way with really no cash involved and it is by finding a niche and building a eccommere storefront around it. So you say how do you learn how to do that? Well the only way I know of that leads you to success is to invest in Niche Blueprint 2.0 by a couple successful marketers knows as Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey.

Science fair projects are meant to solve problems, not to show how something works. I’d like to do a science fair project in the category of engineering using my LEGO Mindstorms robotics kit. The judges at the science fair especially like environmental projects, so I want to do an Environmental engineering project. An example would be "What alternative energy source is the most efficient: water, wind, or geothermal?" Something like that would be good. If you have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate to see them.

Put a solar panel on the robot. Use the controller for the robot to make it move around using the suns energy. Say this should be the use of energy for cars, making them run by electricity. If they ask about nighttime, give the example of a glow-in-the-dark magnet. It gathers the energy it needs during the day. uses it at night. Also use the example about the terrible oil spill in the gulf of mexico thats going on right now. Say that would be abolished if we were to use an alternative energy source for our cars and machines, aka the suns energy.Don’t know much about enviormental engineering, but I think this falls into that catagory. Not very original but good examples for it are here.

Science provoked different laws, theories and observations about each and every phenomena and still continue to explain such phenomena that is beyond our knowledge…. Does Science really provide a sufficient and adequate information in explaining such phenomena?. If yes, justify your answer, If not, can you please discuss an example of a phenomena that Science can’t really explain.

I get the impression that you don’t know what you’re asking. If science explains a phenomenon (phenomena is singlular; phenomena is plural), it is by definition not beyond our knowledge.

There are many phenomena that science has not satistfactorily explained. The expansion of the universe at an increasing rate is attributed to dark energy, but no one knows what dark energy is. Most of the matter in the universe is dark matter, but no one knows what dark matter is. It is still uncertain what gives subatomic particles their masses; the Higgs boson has been proposed as an explanation but has not yet been discovered. Relatively little is known about how the brain produces consciousness. There are still debates about the evolutionary basis of altruistic behavior. There are still debates about the existence of group selection. The origin of life is still largely unexplained, although progress has been made.

How does a science technician work safely in the Lab?
What precautions are in place to make the Lab. a safe working environment for the science technician?
What are the various methods of monitoring that the safety precautions put in place are effective?
What are the legal regulations designed to protect the Science technicians?

Most precautions in the lab are either engineering solutions (well-designed ventilation fume hoods), or a matter of wearing appropriate personal protective equipment ("PPE"). The latter being things like appropriate gloves (latex, rubber, nitrile, etc), safety glasses/goggles, lab coats, potentially dust masks or air respirators. These are the most common safety precautions in place for chemistry labs in industry and academia.

Ah, @flingebunt I was planning of doing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, so it’s good to know that it minimizes the science involved.

There are actually 2 branches of psychology in many universities (though some only have one, the major universities in Australia both have 2). There is Psychology in the Science Faculty and Psychogy in the Arts Faculty.

So if you study Psychology inthe Science faculty you will need to do more science, while if you do it through the arts faculty you won’t.

Chemistry, Physics and Maths are essentials in science, but biology is going to be more useful in psychology Chemistry and Physics. For maths, the main thing you need is statistics.

Earth science is not usually considered laboratory science. You should take chemistry or physics to make sure you have all the lab science courses you need. Usually colleges want biology, chemistry and physics.

The science of Astronomy is interesting and varied. There are a lot of resources for it for kids who are interested in the planets, the solar system, the universe and everything else that’s part of this exciting science. For children, many parts of it are magical and thus they are drawn towards the moon, the stars and far distant galaxies.

The moon is Earth’s only satellite. It takes about 27 days to orbit the Earth. Being so near, it has hosted the only human footsteps on a space object other than the Earth. Gravity between the moon and Earth causes the tides. It’s brightness in the night sky attracts many children to learn more about it.

Then there’s our sun. Earth is quite far from the sun. The distance fluctuates between about 91 million miles and about 94 million miles. That’s because Earth’s orbit around the sun isn’t a circle, it’s an ellipse. If there were no sun, we wouldn’t be alive. Our light and heat comes from the sun. Over 98% of the total stuff in our solar system is in the sun. Think about how small a person is compared to that. So play is a wonderful time to be introducing Science to them. Think of the games that we used to play; Don’t Spill the Beans, for more details visit to www.profit-pulling-niches.com Don’t Break the Ice, the Telephone Game, Lincoln logs, patty cake, each of these games has a science behind it. Each of these games are wonderful science games or toys for the pre K school age group.

We live in the Milky Way Galaxy. It’s full of space stuff. Even with all this stuff to fill it, it’s mostly empty. At over 100,000 light years wide and 3,000 light years high, for more details visit to www.auto-cons.com that means the galaxy contains a whole lot of nothing. The center of our galaxy is about 30,000 light years from Earth. Even with all that space there are about 100 billion stars in the Milky Way. In fact the galaxy was named for the thick group of stars in the main portion of it. People thought it looked like a stream of milk, so called it the Milky Way. There are four types of galaxies – elliptical, lenticular, irregular and like the Milky Way, spiral.

I’m very interested in Science (specifically biology, genetics, chemistry, and astronomy, but science in general as well), and I’ve been studying Spanish and French. I’d like to pursue these topics in college, but I’m not sure what practicality they’ll have together in terms of future jobs. Are there any science Careers that require or can benefit from a knowledge of multiple languages, and if so, which are they?

Pharmaceutical sales representative.
Biologist, especially if you work for government or non-profit.
Almost any doctor, our world is becoming multilingual.
Traveling Geologist, for instance, lets say you visit the middle east to dig up some dinosaur bones.
Chemist, if you work in the chemical engineering field you may have to take some trips to china, japan, russia, europe, etc.
