Growing up in the late 40’s and early 50’s stay at home moms was the real life. Moms cooked, cleaned, kept the home immaculate and made sure everyone was cared for. To earn an income outside of the home was rarely heard of. The man was the breadwinner.
My mother was one of the working pioneers that could not stay at home. Mother was the main source of income in our family of six children. Although many looked down working outside of the home, she knew to survive it was her duty to raise a family. As a pioneer, she worked on the very first computers doing “keypunch” or, as we would call it today data entry. Mother always told us to get into computers it is the way of the future.
When my sister chose to join the millions of working moms, she was fortunate to learn the many offerings of the computer. At that time, the “Internet Income” was not available. Today the working mom is pulled between her family and a job. Today’s moms can have a choice either work out in the world of hustle and bustle and put her family second or stay at home and earn a good income.
More and more opportunities are available for the stay at home mom on the internet. There will be times when you have to cope with the demands of a family and working at home. However, the great thing about working on the internet is you can work any time you want since the office of the internet is available 24/7.
The internet Business can be very lucrative. Searching for that Home business can at best be a challenge. You want to make sure you find a solid business with good leadership and support. Many businesses may be out there just to get you to spend money, stay away from these. Research is a key to any success. Use the internet as a resource not only for business. Research and more research is the bottom line. Once you have found the business that is for you, you will attain a dream and goal.

Does anyone know if there are any legitimate ways for a stay at home mom to make income on the internet?
I’ve searched and searched, but only found scam after scam. Has anyone had any luck?

1 Join Amway aka quikstar (you will need to find a sponcor) (spelling?) they are legit. but you will have to work at it.(consult better business bureau before enrolling in any such venture)
2 study web page design and graphic design and editing and design and sell web pages. (not yahoo pages or geocities, etc, but origional pages you make on your computer, put on disk, and sell to companies or persons needing a web page.
3 if you have an always on connection, highspeed, unlimited bandwidth, you can set up your computer as a html server and host web pages. (avoid this unless you have suffient knowledge of HOW to set up your computer as a web server and how to fix your computer yourself as fast as possible if anything goes wrong. Also you will need to back up all pages that are servered from your computer.
